Cognitio aims to eliminate education inequity
116 million of the poorest children live in India. More than 50% of students in Grade 5 cannot read a Grade 2 text or solve a simple subtraction problem. 75% will not go on to attend college. Most of those who do, are not fully equipped for life. The pandemic has exacerbated this education crisis.

The socio-economic circumstances that a child is born into determines the type of school the child attends, the kinds of co-curricular opportunities that are available, the quality of life outcomes the child attains as an adult, and the kinds of opportunities the child passes on to his/her own children. Cognitio is a volunteer led program which partners with schools to teach & mentor the underprivileged students.
